Since there are no official announcements to affirm this statement, from either of them, fans of PS4 and Xbox are raging a virtual war of words, discussing who is the best.

There are many posts and articles that give both the gaming consoles their due share of respect and praise. There are also rumors that are doing the rounds, when it comes to release date of each product. Paul Raines, CEO of GameStop, heard rumors that neither Xbox nor PS4 will be released until 2013. He also opines that these rumors keep changing, but are stronger, since the beginning of September, that only one of the product may be released next year.

With Sony acquiring Gaikai, everybody is awaiting reaction from Microsoft. Gadget websites are full of editors guessing Microsoft?s move in reply. Sony, secured its future for gaming console with the help of streaming service from Gaikai, which will let a user play a game from across platforms, onto Sony PS 4, through streaming. It is strange to see Sony and Microsoft fans, fighting, even without a specification for these unannounced gaming consoles. Comparisons are drawn from earlier versions of these consoles and expected features are argued upon.

While the Xbox has been lauded for its innovation, when compared to PS3, there are hardware specifications that are superior in PS3 device, which makes gadget crazy fans want to go for it. There are people who are ready to shift their loyalties, if the delays in product release are too prolonged. This is evident from the discussions going on, gadget website based boards. War game, Halo game lovers will want to wait for Xbox 720, while people who prefer LittleBigPlanet may want to wait until the PlayStation 4 is released.
